In a bleak future where a deadly virus has driven humanity underground, a prisoner is sent back in time to trace the outbreak’s origin. A wrong landing date gets him locked in a mental hospital, where his warnings are dismissed and his sanity is questioned as he searches for clues tied to a radical group blamed for the catastrophe.
